We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a Day Service in Heanor. If you want to move away from desk work and spend your day facilitating fun, structured activities tailored to individual interests, this is the place for you.
Your Role:
• Supporting the clients with their personal care and nutritional needs.
• Help individuals engage in meaningful, structured activities that promote personal growth according to their activity planners.
• Work closely with the clients and the established team, to understand their unique needs and goals.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Support Worker (experience with autism spectrum conditions is highly valued).
• An energetic, positive attitude and a passion for helping others thrive.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 6 months or an older Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service
– If you do not have one, don’t panic we can assist you if you have the facilities to pay for one upfront.
– Up to date mandatory training certificates such as Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Moving and Handling. If not we can give you details of training platforms to assist you in obtaining these certificates
– Full up-to-date CV that we can forward to our client.
– A two year referenceable employment history.
