Join a dedicated team based in the Alfreton area, where you will provide compassionate, waking-night support for a community of up to 10 residents with varying stages of mental health issues, learning difficulties, and respite care needs.
Throughout the night, your primary focus will be maintaining a safe, calm, and secure environment that promotes restful sleep and total peace of mind.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include checking in on residents discreetly, updating detailed night logs, managing minor household tasks to keep the home running smoothly.
By attentively following personalised care plans, assisting with routine night-time personal care, responding swiftly and empathetically to disturbances, and handling essential morning handover preparations, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents consistently achieve the highest quality of life and well-being
To be suitable for the role you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
– Be able to provide references for the past 2 years of employment history.
– Have up-to-date mandatory training.
– Have a grounded experience in working with mental health and learning disabilities.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
