We are expanding our cover team across Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales.
Night care offers a uniquely calm, focused environment where you can deliver truly attentive, high-quality care without the rush of daytime routines. If you enjoy quiet nights and making a real difference when clients need support most, this is the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Nighttime Peace & Safety: Providing attentive care and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for residents through the night.
– Routine & Rest Support: Assisting clients with settling down in the evening, evening personal care, and comforting those who wake during the night.
– Essential Checks: Conducting routine night checks, managing turning schedules, and providing hydration or medication support as required.

Morning Transition: Assisting early risers with morning care routines and preparing seamless handover notes for the incoming day team.
– Relief Cover: Stepping in to cover planned staff absences across quality local care homes or home-care settings in the Matlock area.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 9 months (or registered on the update service)
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– Referenceable working history with a minimum of 3 months prior UK based experience within a residential care home.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
