We are recruiting Care Assistants across Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales for late afternoon and evening shifts starting at 2:30 PM. This schedule gives you the best of both worlds: hours that leave your mornings untouched and the satisfaction of helping clients wind down comfortably at the end of their day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Afternoon Support: Assisting clients from mid-afternoon with mobility, social activities, and gentle companionship.
– Tea & Dinner Prep: Preparing warm evening meals and encouraging hydration.
– Bedtime Routines: Assisting clients with evening personal care, changing into nightwear, and managing evening medication.
– Safe & Sound Night Settles: Ensuring clients feel safe, warm, and comfortable in their homes before retiring for the night.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 9 months (or registered on the update service)
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– Referenceable working history with a minimum of 3 months prior UK based experience within a residential care home.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
