My Team is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Staveley Area of Chesterfield. They provide care for 32 residents and specialise in Old Age. You will be working within this busy residential care home working as part of the team, always providing a high standard of care.
As an Experienced Care Assistant, you will be assisting in the residents with their activities of daily living, including personal care and nutritional needs. You will also take part in the home’s daily activity sessions, entertain the residents to assist them in living their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are always met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow their specifically tailored care plans, reporting any issues immediately.
• Complete logs accurately using their bespoke reporting systems.
• Work effectively alongside the existing care team, assisting them to give the residents their best lives!.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and understanding.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
For this role, it is essential that you have;
– At least months experience in a Care environment.
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
– All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms.
– 2 years referenceable work experience
