We are recruiting dedicated Care Assistants for early morning (07:00), afternoon (14:00), and overnight (22:00) starts across the weekend.
Join a supportive weekend team that keeps the home vibrant during the day and peaceful through the night.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Day Shifts (07:00 / 14:00):
o Support residents with morning or evening routines, personal care, and mobility.
o Serve meals and light refreshments, encouraging nutrition and social interaction.
o Facilitate weekend leisure activities, visits, and hobbies.
• Night Shifts (22:00):
o Perform regular, non-intrusive welfare checks to ensure resident comfort and safety.
o Respond promptly to call bells for assistance, mobility, or soothing nocturnal restlessness.
o Keep handheld digital care records updated and manage light night-duty tasks.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 9 months (or registered on the update service)
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– Referenceable working history with a minimum of 6 months of UK based experience within a residential care setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
