• Safety & Welfare Monitoring: Perform regular, non-intrusive safety checks to ensure every individual is safe, comfortable, and sleeping soundly.
• Responsive Care: Attend promptly to call bells or night visits—assisting with repositioning, bathroom visits, or managing nighttime agitation and confusion.
• Nighttime Routines: Help late-to-bed individuals settle down comfortably and assist early risers with early morning routines before handover.
• Digital Documentation: Maintain accurate overnight logs, recording sleep patterns, fluid intake, and any health updates on handheld digital care systems.
• Environment Maintenance: Complete essential night tasks, such as restocking care supplies, laundering linens, and setting up communal areas for the morning shift.
