Are you a reliable, compassionate Care Assistant looking for flexible full-day shifts?
We are seeking dedicated Care Support Workers to provide essential cover across Matlock and neighboring towns in the Derbyshire Dales.
This role is ideal for carers who prefer working full 12-hour “long day” shifts to maximize their earning potential while keeping fewer workdays a week. Because this role involves providing cover across various locations, candidates must have access to their own reliable transport and be comfortable traveling across the local region.
Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support to clients in residential or home care settings.
– Assisting with personal care routines, hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
– Supporting meal preparation, medication administration, and light daily tasks.
– Providing meaningful companionship and emotional support.
– Maintaining accurate care records and reporting updates to senior team members.
– Being adaptable to stepped-in shift cover on short notice when needed.
You will need:
– A Full up-to-date CV
– An Enhanced DBS certificate, dated within the past 12 months (or registered on the update service)
– A Referenceable work history (with a minimum of 3 months of residential care experience)
– Up-to-date mandatory training
