We are looking for dedicated Care Assistants to provide cover support for a beautiful Matlock based care home, working exclusively on the early daytime shift.
Starting your day alongside the residents means you are there for the most uplifting moments—helping everyone feel energized, refreshed, and ready to enjoy their day ahead.
Morning Responsibilities:
– Morning Routines: Support residents to wake up, wash, bathe, dress, and feel comfortable and confident for the day.

Breakfast & Hydration Service: Prepare and serve wholesome breakfasts, hot teas, and morning snacks while ensuring hydration goals are met.
– Social & Active Engagement: Assist residents with morning hobbies, garden walks, or gentle exercise and social groups.
– Digital Documentation: Use electronic handheld care systems to log morning care notes, dietary intake, and daily observations in real time.
– Handover & Teamwork: Take part in the morning shift handover to stay updated and collaborate closely with team members.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 9 months (or registered on the update service)
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– Referenceable working history with a minimum of 6 months of UK based experience within a residential care setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
