I am looking for Care Assistants for immediate starts in the Bulwell Area of Nottingham. This lovely care home that offers a warm, welcoming environment is looking for Carer Workers with at least three months in Care that have an empathetic and caring approach to care. This home caters for residents with Dementia related illnesses and specialises in conditions associated with the Elderly. You will be expected to do general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning of the residents’ rooms.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care to individuals that are unable to do this for themselves.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete logs using their bespoke logging platforms, reporting accurately and reporting any issues to the Nursing Staff.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to perform Night checks as per the resident’s care plan.
What We Are Looking For:
• At least three months previous experience in a residential, nursing or elderly care setting is essential so you can hit the ground running.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
For this role, it is essential that you have;
– At least months experience in a Care environment.
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
– All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms.
– 2 years referenceable work experience
