Urgently seeking Experience Care Workers to play Bingo and drink tea!
Does that sound good for you? This very large care home spread out over 3 floors and boasts that it even has its own Cinema! They offer Residential, Dementia care as well as Respite and Day Care. As an Experienced Care Assistant, you will be assisting in the residents with their activities of daily living, including personal care and nutritional needs. You will also take part in the home’s daily activity sessions, entertain the residents to assist them in living their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing high-quality personal care, ensuring their comfort and dignity needs are always met.
• Follow their care plans, reporting any issues immediately.
• Record logs accurately and reporting any issues to the person in charge of the shift.
• Work effectively alongside the existing care team to offer their residents a range of activities to enhance their daily lives.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• A kind and caring attitude and highly motivated approach towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and understanding.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
For this role, it is essential that you have;
– At least months experience in a Care environment.
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
– All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms.
– 2 years referenceable work experience
