As an experienced Care Assistant you will be helping the residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to their residents, in an empathetic and caring manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
