As with all our vacancies this has the potential to go from a temporary to a permanent role for successful candidates.

Remuneration:

The rates of pay for this role is £8.21 rising to £9.57 after 12 qualifying weeks.

Working hours:

This service is staffed 24 hours per day but in this instance, they are looking for Carers to work day Shifts from 0700 hrs to 1430 hrs. There are other shifts available on request. Weekend support is also required.

Job Description

EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXPERIENCED CARE ASSISTANTS – IMMEDIATE STARTS!! Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the West Hallam Area of Ilkeston to start work immediately. They provide a secure residential setting that has the facilities for 40 residents and specialise in Old Age. You will be working within this large care home that believes in looking after the emotional and mental well-being of its residents. You will be working along side the established team of carers and assist in giving a full care package tailored to individual needs.
As an experienced Care Assistant you will be expected to follow each individual’s care plans, reporting any problems accordingly. You must have experience of dealing with residents with the Elderly and a desire to want to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life.


Experience & Qualifications

You must have experience in a similar environment with time served checkable work history. You must also have up to date Mandatory training documents in Safeguarding, Infection control, Moving & Handling and Hoist Training as a bare minimum or be prepared to do further training. It is a requirement for you to have an up to date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update or the facilities to be able to pay for one up front.
