We have ongoing work opportunities available for Care Assistants in lovely homes based in the Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby in Ashfield areas.
As a Care Assistant you will be tasked with assisting the elderly residents through their day-to-day routines, aiding mobility, hygiene and nutritional requirements. Many residents suffer from age related illnesses such as Dementia and Parkinsons Disease, therefore supporting their physical and psychological wellbeing is of utmost importance.
You will be required to attend to their activities of daily living and assisting them to lead a fulfilling life.
To be a suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service or the facilities to be able to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50
– Up to date mandatory training certificates in Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care Setting
– A two-year referenceable work history
– A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.
Medication Training and experience is desirable but not essential.
