A well-established elderly residential care home in the Ashgate area of Chesterfield is seeking dedicated Care Workers to join their passionate team.
You will be supporting residents with age-related illnesses especially Dementia Care, ensuring they receive the highest standard of dignity, respect, and care. If you are a reliable professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• To assist with personal care, ensuring the comfort, hygiene, and ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to the person in charge.
• Work effectively, professionally, and harmoniously alongside the existing care team.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting (preferred).
• A compassionate, patient, and highly professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, on the update service or have the facilities to pay for one up front
– Have a two-year referenceable work history
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training certificates
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
