This is a large supported-living home which caters for up to 14 adults living with a diagnosis of Autism, moderate to severe learning disability and additional severe and complex challenges.
This lovely care home is based within the Ollerton Area. In this role you will be looking after their residents, helping them with their everyday nutritional and hygiene needs enhancing their quality of life. This position promises to be rewarding, with each day being different from the next. And you will have the opportunity to take part in activities outside the home with the support of the regular staff.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting individuals with their personal care, always maintaining their dignity.
• Making sure all checks are completed and logged as per company requirements using their bespoke reporting systems.
• Taking part in daily activities according to their plan
• Household/domestic duties such as laundry and cooking.
For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment.
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
