We are urgently seeking experienced Care Assistants to integrate into an established team of workers, providing care to The Elderly . This recently renovated care home is looking for enthusiastic Care Workers that enjoy supporting elderly people with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs and other illnesses associated with Old Age. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential but you will need at least three months experience in a care role.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 months experience in this kind of Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
– Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– The willingness to make a difference to an individual’s life.
