This newly extended care home is looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to assist in the support of elderly people with Dementia Related Illnesses. You will be working as part of the team, making sure the clients are well cared for in a dignified and professional manner. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties around the home such as laundry and tidying residents’ rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using their bespoke reporting systems.
• Always complying with health and safety in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 months experience in a Care setting.
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, or the facilities to pay for a DBS at a cost of £49.50
– Up to Date relevant mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Food Hygiene, ideally with the certificates to prove this or we can assist you to access online training platforms so you can gain the relevant training.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
