We’re looking for experienced Care Assistants to join an extra care service where each resident has their own flat within the building. This care provider delivers a “community-style” service entirely on-site, offering the same level of personalised support you’d expect in traditional community care without the need to travel between homes.
Residents are semi-independent, but your role will include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. Care is delivered through a mix of scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits, all within the same building.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
