We are currently seeking experienced Care Assistants within the Matlock area to cover daytime hours throughout the week.
You will be working as part of a dedicated and friendly team who are providing the very best level of care to elderly residents living with age related illnesses.
You will use your knowledge and experience to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package.
You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers and Nurses assisting them with the smooth day to day running of the shift. As of all aspects of care, you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties, personal care, moving and handling and you will also be required to record information accurately and feeding back to seniors as required.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– A referenceable employment history with one reference referring to a minimum of 6 months of experience within a Residential Care Home.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
