Care Assistants - Day Shifts

Are you looking for a role that is fulfilling and rewarding, where no two days are the same?

This lovely care home is looking for Carer Assistants with at least 3 months experience in Elderly Care and have a passion for making a difference to a person’s day. This home caters for residents with Dementia related illnesses and Older Person Care, whether this be long term or respite.

You are expected to deal with the residents with respect and empathy ensuring they live their best life. You will ensure all their needs are met, especially hygiene and nutritional needs. You will be expected to take part in the daily activities, also.

Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the residents unique physical and emotional needs.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately. If any issues are raised report to the person in charge as soon as possible.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to assist them to enhance their resident’s lives.

What We Are Looking For
• At least three months experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
