Are you looking for extra shifts around your current role especially with Christmas coming up?

This immaculately dressed care home is looking for Carers with a grounded knowledge in Care so you can easily slot into a well-established team. This home caters for elderly residents with Dementia related illnesses, Parkinson’s Disease and illnesses associated with the elderly.

You are expected to deal with the residents with care, respect and empathy ensuring they have a good quality of life. If you are an enthusiastic individual that thrives in a dynamic, well-motivated team environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For:
• At least three months previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential so you can hit the ground running.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Duration: We have ongoing hours available and potentially a permanent role for the right candidates!
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Rates of pay are £12. 76 to £13.50 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
Working Hours: Shift times are:- Days - 0700 to 1400 Afternoons – 1345 to 2130 Nights – 2130 to 0715. Weekday shifts are available on request, especially bank holidays and Christmas.

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront.
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference to an individual’s life.
