Are you looking for an ongoing part-time role that works around school Hours?
You will be working in a Day Service that caters for young adults with Austism and are actively encouraged to take part in activities within the local Community. These activities are to promote their independence and to teach them life skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the clients with their personal care if required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, always maintaining their dignity.
• Follow individualised care and activity plans to meet their unique physical and emotional needs of each client.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience with Autism and Learning Difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment with Autism Awareness being desirable.
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront.
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference
– Some form of Safety Intervention training is also desirable.
