We have immediate starts available for experienced Support Workers with a passion for looking after people with Autism and Learning Difficulties.
You will be working in a supported-living property which cares for up to 9 young adults living, with a diagnosis of ASD, moderate to severe learning disability and additional severe and complex challenges.
The property is based within the Gedling area of Nottingham. In this role you will be caring for the service users, helping them with their everyday needs and enhancing their quality of life. This position promises to be rewarding, with each day being different from the next.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting individuals with their personal care, always maintaining their dignity.
• Making sure all night checks are completed and logged as per company requirements
• Report any findings on their logging systems.
• Household/domestic duties

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months preferable on the update service. If not, don’t panic we can assist you to obtain one.
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training is essential.
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
– Certified Safety Intervention training is preferred but not a necessity.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
