This well presented Care Home are looking for experienced Care Assistants to work alongside the established team. They are looking for professional Care Workers with experience in looking after residents with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s health needs and requirements in a calm, empathetic manner ensuring their dignity at all times.
• You are expected to perform general housekeeping duties such as laundry and ensuring the home is clean and tidy at all times.
• Observing the resident’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems.
• Comply with the homes health and safety policy at all times in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 months experience in a Care setting.
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, or the facilities to pay for one upfront.
– Relevant mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Food Hygiene, ideally with the certificates to prove this dated within the past 9 months are essential or we can assist you to access online training platforms so you can gain the relevant training.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– The willingness to make a difference.
