This lovely Nursing Home is looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work alongside the Nursing staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This large, nursing facility is looking for enthusiastic Care Workers that enjoy supporting elderly people with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are well hydrated and comfortable at all times.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must comply with health and safety at all times in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 to 6 months experience in a Care setting.
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, or the means to pay for a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
-Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally with the certificates to prove this or we can assist you to access online training platforms so you can gain the relevant training.
