This recently renovated care home is looking for Carers to hit the ground running. This home caters for elderly residents with age related illnesses such as Parkinson’s and Dementia related illnesses

Key Responsibilities
• To deliver personal care, ensuring the comfort, hygiene, and ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Adhere to individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Duration: We have ongoing hours available and potentially a permanent role for the right candidates!
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Rates of pay are £13.50 per hour. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
Working Hours: Shift times will be between 20:00 to 08:00. Other shifts are available on request, especially bank holidays and weekends.

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access on line training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference
