Local work available for experienced Carers in the Chesterfield area!
We require experienced Care Assistants for a care home which caters for the needs of up to 32 residents. The service cares for people living with Dementia and other age-related illnesses.
You will work as part of an experienced team following personalised care plans to ensure that each resident gets the level of care and support that they require.
You will be:
– Conducting personal care on both male and female service users.
– Assisting service users with their mobility (inc. the use of moving and handling equipment)
– Assisting with the serving of meals to service users
– Undertaking domestic duties as required
– Maintaining a person-centred approach
– Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users at all times
We are looking for people who can bring a smile to the faces of the service users under their care.
To apply for this role, you must:
– Have 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting
– Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work
– Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service
