If you are dedicated to working and supporting individuals in their everyday living, encouraging their independence, promoting healthy choices from walking in the park or having tea and cake we want to hear from you.
This is a hands-on job in which no two days are the same. Your duties could include:
• Promoting my independence
• Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out
• Arranging activities in the home and in the local community
• Developing individuals’ life skills and personal interests
• Assisting with healthy lifestyle choices
• Helping with personal care needs
• Manual handling
• Supporting medication
• Ensuring record keeping is always maintained to the required standard and contributing to service monitoring requirements

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
