Immediate start for experienced Support Workers with weekly paid hours.
We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker to work from Monday to Friday at a day service specialising in supporting service users with moderate to severe autism.
The service is based in NG5, Nottingham and you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best experience for the service user whilst also carefully promoting independence where appropriate.
Duties include:
– Following personal care plans
– Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
– General housekeeping and domestic duties
– Helping service users remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
– Assisting with daily living activities
– Undertaking activities to keep the service users engaged and active

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling and Autism and Learning Disabilities training (Oliver Mcgowan)
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
