Job Description

Compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants needed for a care home in Nottingham, that provides nursing and residential care for people experiencing neurological illnesses, brain injuries or mental health illnesses.
The home provides care for residents aged 18-65, and as a Support Worker you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service.
You will be helping residents with personal care and morning activities, encouraging the service users to remain as independent as possible. Other responsibilities include completing relevant paperwork, following personalised care plans and reporting any issues you may encounter.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
Working Hours: Your typical day will begin at 07.00 and finish at 14.00, Saturday and Sundays.

Experience & Qualifications

As a Support worker, you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A 5-year Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
