Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team for bank day shifts at a welcoming care home in the NG8 area. This is your chance to provide high-quality care and support to our wonderful residents during the day.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our residents’ daily lives,

• helping with personal care,
• mobility, movement and handling
• daily routines to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Support residents both in their physical and emotional wellbeing
• light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• monitoring residents,
• responding to any emergencies, and
• keeping accurate records of the care provided.

We are seeking individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and have experience in a care setting. If you are committed to making a positive impact and are available for day shifts, we would love to hear from you.

Experience & Qualifications

If you wish to be considered for this role you must have the following: –

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
