Weekend Care Assistant Roles Available in Buxton – Weekly Pay for Experienced Carers

We are currently offering weekend shifts for experienced Care Assistants at a welcoming care home in the Buxton area. This home supports up to 20 elderly residents with a range of health conditions, including learning disabilities, dementia, and sensory impairments.

As a Care Assistant, you will be working day shifts and playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, supporting residents with mobility and handling, and helping to facilitate engaging activities that enhance their quality of life.

The home is known for its warm and supportive environment, and we are looking for individuals with an outgoing, bubbly personality and excellent communication skills. You’ll be working closely with both residents and fellow staff members, so a friendly and team-oriented approach is essential.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.21 per hour for hours worked from 07:00 to 19:00 and will be paid an enhanced rate of £16.24 per hour for hours worked from 19:00 to 07:00. Your pay rate with rise after working for a 13 week period.
Working Hours: You could be working hours on Saturday and/or Sunday with typical hours available being: 07:00 to 14:30 14:00 to 22:00 22:00 to 07:00

Experience & Qualifications

To be suitable for this position you must have:

– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
