We are looking for experienced residential Care Assistants to work for our client in the Retford Area. The home houses up to 21 residents with a dedicated team of Carers that are experts in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease, Challenging Behaviour and Stroke. You will be required to follow individual’s care plans, care for and attend to the daily activities of the residents. This dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing with residents suffering from Dementia and they pride themselves in providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
This is a physically and mentally demanding job so you must have a real desire to work in this setting. You must have experience of dealing with residents with Dementia, Old Age and Physical Disabilities and a desire to want to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life.
To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Healthcare Assistant you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home, it is essential that you have your own transport.
