Daytime Support Worker

Job Description

Do you have experience as a Support Worker? Are you looking for flexible hours that work around you?

A residential supported living unit in Alfreton are looking to supplement their team with passionate and reliable Support Workers.

You will be assisting in providing round-the-clock care to the service users living with learning disabilities and complex care needs. You will be enabling them to live as independently as possible, while learning important life skills.

You will work to empower residents by accompanying them in daily activities. Other responsibilities will also include household duties and any necessary paperwork.

Hourly Rate: Rate of pay for this role is £11.44 per hour.
Working Hours: You will be covering shifts, as required, from Monday through to Friday. With typical hours being 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 21:00

Experience & Qualifications

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
