We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistant for a fantastic opportunity within proximity to Derby city centre. You will be looking after up to 40 service users that suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia.
Duties include:
– Following personal care plans
– Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
– General housekeeping and domestic duties
– Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes
– Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
– Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines
– Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs

The minimum requirements for a Care Assistant are:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Safeguarding training within 1 year
– Infection Control within 1 year
– Moving and Handling training within 1 year
– A Referenceable work history
– A minimum of 3 months experience within a similar setting
