We are looking for compassionate healthcare assistants to work flexible nights with an established healthcare provider in the Codnor area. We are recruiting experienced professionals to work alongside their existing staff in a beautiful nursing home to provide a fantastic level of care to vulnerable residents. Our client specialises in caring for the elderly with serious age related conditions such as dementia, with space for 42 service users.
Your general duties will include assisting residents with personal care, toileting, and using moving and handling equipment. Strive to provide the highest quality of care to ensure residents are comfortable and support their physical and mental wellbeing. You will be expected to monitor the condition of service users, accurately reporting any changes in their condition to senior staff members. You will also be required to perform basic cleaning and compliance tasks to ensure the facility is free from hazards and infection risks, and meets health and safety standards.

To apply for this role you must;
– Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
– Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
– Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
– Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
– Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.
