IMMEDIATE START Opportunity to work 36 hours per week as part of a friendly, longstanding team whilst caring for a single resident.
You will be working 36 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime if required, as part of a team caring for a younger adult with an acquired brain injury. Working alongside some of the resident’s family members, as well as other care professionals, you will be ensuring that the service user has the best quality of life possible.
Your duties will include:
– Following the care plan to ensure that the residents routines are followed to prevent any distress.
– Conduct personal care activities – inc. showering, catheter and bowel care
– Remaining engaged and patient with the service user
– Domestic duties
– Administrating medication
– Recording observation checks
This role has become available as one of the longstanding team members is retiring so if you are an outgoing, bubbly character looking for a permanent role then this is the one for you!
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate (Ideally Registered on the update service)
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– A minimum of 3 months experience working within a hands-on care role
– A referenceable work history
– A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.
– A full UK driving licence
