Experienced and reliable support workers are needed to join the team in a residential support unit based in a bungalow in Worksop.
You will be working with staff to recognise and respond to the needs of 5 residents with autism, helping them to live as independently as possible. Due to the nature of the role, you may face behaviour which challenges, and so previous support experience is essential.
Responsibilities include:
• Attending to personalised care plans
• Completing daily activities with residents and encouraging independence
• Filling out relevant paperwork
• Household/domestic duties

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
