Job Description

Immediate starts available with weekly pay
Role Overview:
You’ll be working within a residential setting where residents have their own flats within the building.
Our care provider offers a unique “community service within the building” approach.
The residents are semi-independent, and your role will involve providing personalized care similar to community care.
You’ll administer medication as needed, assist with meal preparation, handle domestic duties, and accompany residents on local shopping trips.
Some residents require assistance with moving using hoists and other aids.
The site operates scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits based on residents’ needs.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities (e.g., dressing, bathing, toileting).
Help overcome mobility challenges and physical disabilities, including aid and equipment usage.
Ensure residents’ comfort by making beds, tidying rooms, and handling light cleaning.
Support eating and drinking, prepare meals, and provide assistance as needed.
Contribute to specialized care plans (e.g., dementia care, re-enablement, continence management).
Administer prescribed medications according to care plans.

Experience & Qualifications

To be suitable for this position you must have:

– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.
