Main Purpose of the Role:
• To ensure the delivery to service users is person-centred, safe and compliant with both CQC and the policies set by Individual Care Services
• To recruit, supervise and develop staff
• To ensure your team provide and maintain the highest levels of care in line with the Company’s vision, policies and procedures.
• Be proactive in the future development of the home, including short, medium and long term strategies.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of the home within established budget parameters.
• To develop your own skill set as you take on a higher management role

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
• A recognised qualification in Care, NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social care or equivalent. Alternatively, you will be working towards or be willing to work towards a qualification.
• Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
• Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of legal requirements
• Proven experience within a similar setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, including motivation and development of staff
• The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise.
• Immaculate attention to detail
• A proven track record in delivering excellent standards of care
• The capacity to work under pressure
• A desire to develop their own career
