Support Worker - Weekends

Job Description

Immediate start for an experienced support worker, paid weekly!

You will be working in a modern building where each resident has their own flat with some shared communal spaces. The location has good access to public transport links within Chesterfield and is located close to local amenities.

The home cares for the needs of adults living with a variety of mental health conditions.

Duties will include.
– Providing support / encouragement with personal care, whilst promoting choice and dignity throughout.
– Encourage and develop knowledge of life skills and tasks.
– Participating in any activities booked in for residents each day.
– Document and report accurately and in detail.
– Completing domestic tasks including cleaning rotas, laundry and other similar tasks and duties.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid: £11.50 per hour (Days) £12.00 per hour (Nights)
Working Hours: The shifts include: 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00 on Saturday or Sunday

Experience & Qualifications

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

– Have referenceable work history
– Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)*
– Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service*
– Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
