We are looking for experienced Support Workers for immediate start roles, offering weekly pay, in a home within the Sutton-in-Ashfield area.
The care unit specialises in supporting adults with mental health difficulties and accommodates up to 37 service users who require assistance with their daily needs, includes aspects of personal care as well as moving and handling.
You will be assisting the service users in developing their independence through a varied activity schedule as well as day to day support and guidance.
You’ll play a key role in the smooth-running of the site and demonstrate a good grasp of safety and hygiene. This is a role in which attention to detail really counts – and one that touches the real lives of people every day.
This role will involve supporting some service users that may display challenging behaviour.
We are looking for a passionate and energic individual who will provide a positive environment for the service users and fellow staff.
To demonstration you experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
