We have a weekly paid role offering up to 18 hours on a flexible basis, available for a dedicated Support Worker to work alongside the existing team at a lovely rural care home based in the Staffordshire Countryside.
The home caters to the everyday needs of around 11 residents, from the age of 17 who have learning disabilities / behavioural convers / mental health conditions. The home also supports individuals with autism.
As a support worker within this role, you will follow individual personalised care plans with helping the residents live as independently as possible.
Every day will be different in this role, but other responsibilities may include reporting condition updates, reporting any incidents to senior staff and general housekeeping.
If you are looking for a part time role that offers a rewarding experience where you will be making a true difference to people’s quality of life, then we would love to hear from you!
To demonstration you experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
