Support Worker

Job Description

Support Worker required for a Sherwood based supported livig unit.

As a Support Worker you will assist service users in an Autism specialist, supported living unit. You will be tasked with supporting service users through their daily tasks ensuring mobility, hygiene and nutritional needs cared for. You will be working with vulnerable adults and young people, therefore, supporting their physical and psychological wellbeing of utmost importance.

Other responsibilities include following health and safety regulations, accurate reporting of condition updates and reporting incidents to senior staff.

Working Hours: Flexible day shifts available from 08:00 to 14:00, or 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Sunday.

Experience & Qualifications

To apply for this role you must;

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• An in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
• Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
