Looking for experienced Care Assistants with Immediate starts?
This newly renovated care home that is split over two buildings. They are looking for Care Assistants with at least a three-month work history in Care. You will need to deliver a high standard of care with the support of the existing team of Carers. This home caters for elderly residents with Dementia related illnesses in a purpose-built secure unit and Illnesses associated with the Elderly. You will be expected to take part in the daily activities of the home, encouraging the residents to take part. You will also be expected to take part in general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning residents’ rooms.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting and assisting the residents with personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet their physical and emotional needs.
• Completing logs and reporting any issues as they arise.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
-Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
