This lovely Nursing Home is looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work alongside the Nursing staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This large care home is looking for enthusiastic Care Workers that enjoy supporting elderly people with illnesses such as Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia Care Needs. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference
– Assist with medication rounds using MAR charts and boxed medications.
