Our client in the Worksop area is seeking experienced Support Workers to work Night Shifts, supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. This care home has the facilities for up to 5 residents in an extended bungalow setting. They specialise in supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and promotes independent living skills. As an experienced Support Worker, it is desirable that you have experience of dealing with clients with Autism and Learning Difficulties or have a good understanding of this.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the clients with their personal care if required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, always maintaining their dignity.
• Follow individualised care and activity plans to meet their unique physical and emotional needs of each client.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team in performing checks throughout the night.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience with Autism and Learning Difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, on the update service or have the facilities to pay for one up front
– Have a two-year referenceable work history
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training certificates
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
