Urgently seeking experienced Care Assistants for IMMEDIATE STARTS!
This large care home set picturesque grounds caters for up to 54 residents with Dementia related Illnesses. You will be expected to hit the ground running and fit into the existing Care Team. You will be required to perform general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning rooms.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the residents with their personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are maintained, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the residents unique physical and emotional needs.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately. If any issues are raised report to the person in charge as soon as possible.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to assist them to enhance their resident’s lives.
What We Are Looking For:
• At least three months experience in a residential setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards caring for the Elderly.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, on the update service or have the facilities to pay for one up front
– Have a two-year referenceable work history
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training certificates
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
