Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same?

This care home is looking for experienced Support Workers with a grounded knowledge in Autism and Learning Difficulties. This Care Complex caters for Young Adults in a homely setting, whether this be permanently or Respite Care.

You will be expected to take part in various activities inhouse and in the community. You are expected to deal with the residents with care, respect and empathy ensuring they have a good quality of life. Key Responsibilities
• Supporting individuals with their personal care when required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, maintaining the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately and highlighting issues as they come up.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Rates of pay are £12.76. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
Working Hours: Shift times are:- Long Days – 0800 – 2000 Other Shifts available on request, especially to cover bank holidays.

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference
